Regenbogen Stola / Rainbow Stole
Ich habe 3 Knäuel Kauni Effekt EQ mit Nd.-St. 2,5mm verstrickt. Diesmal war ich todesmutig und habe den Steek ohne Fixieren aufgeschnitten, da die Kauni beim ersten Waschen gut anfilzt. Hat prima geklappt! Ich werde die Kanten trotzdem im Auge behalten. Diese Farben sind einfach ein Traum! Es ist ein eigener Entwurf - eine Anleitung wird es bald geben.
I used 3 balls of Kauni Effekt in EQ and 2,5mm needles. I was very audacious this time - I cut the steek without fixing because the Kauni yarn is felting a bit after washing. It worked good but I will keep an eye on the edges! Love the colors - they a gorgous! Is my own design - pattern will come soon.
Mein bleiches Model trägt übrigens einen trendigen Turban aus einem Strang Wollmeise "SOS", einem sehr neuen, sehr grellen Neonorange.
By the way - my pallid model is wearing a very trendy turban of a skein Wollmeise sockyarn "SOS", which is a brand new very, very bright neon-orange.

Lecker!? / Yummy!?
Au weia, war ICH gestern sauer auf meinen Hund! Die Socken hatte ich gerade 2 mal an und diese Färbung von Tausendschön hat mir so besonders gut gefallen! Böser Hund!
I was very angry with my dog yesterday! The socks were nearly new and I really liked the colorway! Bad BlogDog!
Da konnte mich dieses Päckchen auch nicht so wirklich trösten, auch wenn die Wolle toll ist:

Double Face
Ich wollte mich schon länger mal wieder mit dieser Technik beschäftigen, da ich vor Jahren mal einen Schal so gestrickt habe und das als ausgesprochen anstrengend in Erinnerung hatte. Mit etwas mehr Strickpraxis dachte ich, jetzt ist es bestimmt einfacher! Pustekuchen! Es war immernoch Krampf mit der Methode, beide Fäden gleichzeitig pro Reihe zu stricken. Dies Gewürge mit den linken Maschen ist einfach zuviel für meine Nerven. Deshalb habe ich den löchrigen Versuch geribbelt und mit der anderen Methode (Hebemaschen und 1 Faden pro Reihe) nochmal angefangen. Dauert zwar lange, ist aber um einiges weniger anstrengend.
I made a double face shawl some years ago and it was very exhausting for me and I thought I would never knit such a thing again. Now I tried it again with the same technique - 2 strands at a time in every row. And it was as exhausting as I remembered. I frogged it - very holey thing that was! And I made a new attempt with the other method - just one strand at a time in a row with slip stitches. That really is slow growing but it is less annoying!

Nächster Versuch / next attempt
Der erste Handschuhversuch wurde verworfen. Mir haben Garn und Muster zusammen nicht gefallen, da kamen die Maschen nicht wirklich gut raus. Deshalb halte ich mich jetzt doch an die Anleitung und nehme Wollmeise (Campari Orange - ich glaube, das ist meine Lieblingsfarbe - leider kaum zu fotografieren. Eigentlich ist es ein ganz tiefes, dunkles rot mit knallig leutendem orange):

Ich bin sowohl mit der Anleitung als auch mit dem Garn sehr zufrieden! Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht, diese Socken zu stricken! Ich habe die Anleitung ein bißchen verändert: da ich keine Löcher neben den Zöpfen haben wollte habe ich die Umschläge verschränkt abgestrickt.

Und dann habe ich mich noch geopfert und mal wieder Riesensocken gestrickt - für den Gatten zum Geburtstag:

Variation II: 75g ROWAN Kidsilk Spray/Haze
Mit einfarbigem Garn wirkt das Muster völlig anders - aber sehr interessant wie ich finde! Es gibt natürlich unzählige Möglichkeiten, damit weiter zu "spielen". Z.B. eine Sockenwolle-Variante:
With solid yarn the pattern comes out different - but very interesting I think! You have so much possibilities to play with - e.g. the sock yarn variation:
2 x 150g Wollmeise "Rittersporn" und "Gewitterhimmel"
Natürlich kann man die einzelnen Quadrate auch zu einem Rechteck zusammennähen. Das ist ein richtiges Experimentiermuster - mir wüßte noch so viele Variationen, aber jetzt stricke ich dann doch auch mal was anderes! Die Anleitung wird übrigens die detaillierten Angaben für alle 4 gezeigten Varianten beeinhalten.
You can the squares sew up to a rectangle. This is a pattern to experiment with - I thought about so much more variations. But now it is time to knit other things. The pattern will contain the details for all four shown variations.

Colors Squared I + II
Wie versprochen hier nun 2 der Projekte, die ich während der Sommerfrische gestrickt habe:
Material: 300g Noro Sockengarn Fb. 185 + 188, Nd.-St. 3,5mm, Entwurf WollSchnegge (Anleitung fast fertig), Technik: ein bißchen log-cabin, ein bißchen modular, Größe: 185cm x 100cm
3 balls of Noro sock yarn colors 185 + 188, needlesize US4, design WollSchnegge (pattern coming soon), techniques: a bit of log-cabin and a bit of modular
Wie bereits erwähnt: ich LIEBE dieses Garn. Die Farben sind einfach sensationell und die leicht rustikale Optik ist für Tücher ideal. Wie gesagt - nicht für Socken für mich - zu viel dick/dünn. Und die Länge der einzelnen Farbverläufe passt finde ich perfekt zu dieser Technik des "in-verschiedene-Richtungen-Strickens". Deshalb habe ich eine kleinere Variante mit anderen Farben ausprobiert:

Dann hat es mich gereizt herauszufinden, wie das Muster wohl mit anderen Garnen wirkt. Deshalb habe ich noch eine Wollmeisen- und eine Kidsilkvariante gestrickt. Die zeige ich dann morgen oder so...

Da bin ich wieder / back again
Unser Urlaub war diesmal ein totaler Reinfall. Über die Hälfte der Zeit stand unser Auto in der Werkstatt, und während der gesamten Zeit hat es ununterbrochen geregnet. Erholung = null. Egal - nicht zu ändern. Ich habe auch nicht besonders viel gestrickt - Bilder von fertigen Werken gibt es in den nächsten Tagen.
Our vacation was a pratfall this year! Most of the time our car stood in our dealer`s garage and ALL the time it was raining. I actually didn´t knit very much - pictures of the finished projects will come in the next few days.
Die meiste Zeit habe ich mit dem Formulieren von Anleitungen und dem Umbau meiner Homepage verbracht. Das ist jetzt eine Anleitungssammlung geworden.
