DeVi

(Dendroaspis viridis) by WollSchnegge

A very, very short recipe:

You need: about 300 yards of a laceweight yarn and 3,75mm knitting needles

Pattern

Row1 (right side row): k3, *k1, yo, k1, slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 stitches together, pass slipped stitch over, k1,yo* repeat from * to * five times, k4

Row2 (wrong side row): k3, *p1, k5* repeat from * to * five times, p1, k3

Co 37 sts.

Knit 1 row (wrong side row).

Work in pattern repeating the 2 rows of pattern 220 times - 440 rows.

Knit 1 row.

Bo very loosely.

Weave in ends but do not cut them now. Soak shawl in cold water for 20 minutes and wrap it in a towel to remove excess water and block it carefully. Let it dry thoroughly and cut yarn ends. Finished! Have fun!
